    Funds From The Government for Dholera Project

    • Rs. 20,000 Crore is the cost for a part of this development project.
    • Total outlay averages to an amount of Rs. 57,000 crore
    • The budget allocation for L&T, the contractor, is around 1,734 Crore.
    • Phase 1 development will cost an approximate amount of Rs. 3000 crore
    • Allocation for construction of the ABCD building by Cube Construction Engineering Ltd. is Rs. 72.31 crores.
    • The Government has given Rs. 7,000 crore for developing the High-Speed Metro throughout the heart of Dholera.
    • The ISCON Group is planning to invest Rs. 21,300 crore for the Dholera smart city development. Five hundred acres have been given to them for the project.
    • The responsible companies involved in this curriculum are the Tsingshan Industry of the Chinese background along with Chrome Steels, its local partner. It is expected that the land will get the required commissioning in the coming three years.

    Phases of the Dholera Smart City Project 

    The development of the Dholera smart city will be in different phases. The project’s Phase 1 will include the First and Second Town Planning Schemes (1 & 2). The approximate area covered in Town Planning Scheme 1 is 51 sq. km. On the other hand, 102 sq. km is the approximate area for Town Planning Scheme 2.

    However, the total area of this project will also cover 250 meters of the planned Expressway. This road will stretch for 110 KM more as a connecting link between Ahmedabad, Dholera, and Bhavnagar.     Phase 1

    Phase 1 of the Dholera smart city project is expected to be completed by 2024. However, the activation area or the area which is going to be industrial area majorly and is about 22.5 Sq. KM is still under construction and will soon be operational.

    The construction of the Dholera International Airport phase 1 began in 2022 and is expected to be completed by 2024 or 2025. The construction of the Ahmedabad to Dholera Greenfield expressway will also be completed around the same time.

    Phase 2 

    Under phase 2 of the Dholera smart city project, Town planning 3 and 4 will be undertaken. The area covered under town planning 3 is around 66.60 Sq. KM and for town planning 4, the area of development will be approximately 60 Sq. KM. However, phase 2 of the project will only begin after the completion of phase 1 of the project.

    Phase 3 

    Phase 3 of the Dholera smart city project will begin after the completion of phase 2. Phase 3 is divided into town planning 5 and 6. The area developed under town planning phase 5 will be around 74.75 Sq. KM and for town planning 6 it is 67.63 Sq. KM.

    The entire smart city project is expected to be completed by 2042 or later. However, with the completion of each phase, both the residential, commercial, industrial zones will be open for the public.

    List Of Projects Under The Dholera City Banner
